CROP Walk Details:

The Walk is a 5K from UIC campus to the Loop and then back a different route. Also, there is a 10K Walk (two laps) or a 'Golden Mile' Walk (on campus & handicapped accessible) option available!

Registration: 1:00 p.m.

Pre-Walk Entertainment with "Last Minute Music": 1:00 - 2:00 p.m.

Step Off Program: 2:00-2:15 p.m.

Step Off Location: UIC Quad directly behind (west) of the Student Center Building, 750 S. Halsted (only accessible by foot or wheelchair)

Post Walk Entertainment with "The Happiness Club" (Pending): 3:45 - 4:15 p.m.

Recruiter (Team Leader) Information:

We have three rallies to orient and prepare team leaders with all the information and materials, such as instructions, donation envelopes, and posters needed for successful participation. You may request another site rally or else other communication and delivery of materials to prepare your team.  Please contact us! 2012 rally dates are pending and open to suggestions. The 2011 rally dates were:

  1. Wednesday, July 27 at 6:00pm at Lakeview Presbyterian Church, 716 W. Addison Ave., Chicago
  2. Wednesday, August 24 at 6:30pm at Chicago Temple, 77 W. Washington St., Chicago
  3. Saturday, September, 10 at 10:30am at First Church of the Brethren, 425 S. Central Park Blvd., Chicago
